Wednesday, 50 migrants died in two accidents in two countries. While more than
20 people are injured. The death toll may increase. According to media reports,
73 people are feared dead after a boat going from Libya to Europe capsized in
the sea. There were 80 people in the boat, so far 11 bodies have been
recovered. Earlier in the morning, 39 people were killed and 20 injured when a
bus fell into a gorge in western Panama.

Migrants had crossed the Darien Gap from Colombia.
The
government of Panama usually moves migrants crossing Darién to a camp near the
Costa Rica border on the other side of Panama. Samira Gozaine, director of
Panama's national immigration service, said the accident appeared to have
happened when the driver tried to turn onto the highway.

swam out. The search is on for the rest.
